Keeping Cruise Travel simple
As we plan our Cruise Travel, often back to back to back to back, some long, some short, here are a few Keep it Simple principles that we follow.
- Look for great deals that bundle the perks such as drink, wifi, and onboard credits. Keep Off and Shoulder seasons in mind
- Do not overpack – we try to stick with carry on bags only
- Get to know your ship ahead of time. There are plenty of youtube videos that can tell just about anything you want to know about staterooms, venues, dining, entertainment, spas, etc…
- Get the Cruise Line app and register your cruise as soon as you can. Get you dining, entertainment, and excursion reservations in place early.
- Cruise travel is an especially good way travel with friends and family. Because of it’s all inclusive nature, the burden of planning, cost sharing, and overall effort are removed. You’ll have more time to enjoy their company without being responsible for their enjoyment.
- For us, cruising supports both our RV Travel, as well as our International Travel, as both can lead us to ports to hop on a quick last minute cruise.
