Success… Such a complicated word. You want to be successful, don’t you? You’ve probably spent a great deal of time achieving some level accomplishment, and that’s great! But the real question is whose success are you really achieving? Other people’s? Or Yours?
We’ve all felt the pressure of others’ expectations of us. I certainly have. And while people mean well, it is often hard for them to understand that their idea of accomplishment for you isn’t necessarily your idea of success. I learned years ago – when I walked away from corporate life – the joy, pleasure, and true sense of satisfaction that comes with discovering your own definition of success. It was life-changing.
I followed my own path to success. Not my colleagues’, my family’s, or society’s. My own definition. My own way. Now here I am – a blogger, a YouTuber, and an author hoping to help you find your own definition of success. Your definition doesn’t necessarily have to be different than your friends’ and family’s, or even society’s, but it’s critical to make sure you are truly going after your idea of success. So how do you pin that down?
